Hanna’s remedies for glandular problems can be found in “New Book on Healing”
- Chicken, chick peas, sweet potatoes, yams, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, and avocado served without oil or butter are all gland foods.
- A slice of tomato on glandular swelling removes it quickly.
- Green tomatoes in very small amounts are a gland stimulant.
- Boil plantain leaves and mix with salt then use it as a compress for swollen glands. Plantain oil can be applied to neutralize poisons. (Learn to make your own plantain oil from dried leaves)
- Marjoram is great for glandular problems. Add it to food or apply tea as a compress.
- Dandelion root stimulates the glands while alfalfa seed tea nourishes them.
- Yucca is similar to cortisone and is an adrenal gland food.
- Mullein leaf tea is good for the glandular system; drink 2 cups daily.
- Sabal serrulata (saw palmetto) homeopathic or saw palmetto tincture, are good to strengthen glandular tissue.
- When there is a burning or cutting feeling in the glands that gets worse at night, try horseradish.
- Used as a poultice of hot milk and crushed seeds, fenugreek relieves swollen glands.
- Use sage for glandular weakness and bloated conditions.
- Hanna created Anti-Fatigue to feed exhausted adrenal glands. In dire or dangerous circumstances adrenaline is secreted, giving the body extra strength but our adrenals can become weak due to caffeine or stress. This formula of B vitamins in licorice root boosts the adrenal glands.
