Hanna Kroeger taught us to help others, as well as ourselves

Throughout her life, Hanna Kroeger led by example.  As she taught many of her customers and students how to achieve better health naturally through a good diet, herbs and exercise, she never preached what she did not practice.

This year, following Hanna’s lead, we have decided to put more effort into following her call to everyone worldwide to “Help One Another.”  So far in 2011 Hanna’s Herb Shop and Kroeger Herb Products have made donations of herbal supplements to two wonderful groups. These donations, while used for different purposes, will assist Natural Doctors International and A Child’s Dream…Fulfilled in their pursuits of helping others.

Help One Another Internationally

We teamed up with Natural Doctors International to follow Hanna’s call to Help One Another

Natural Doctors International (NDI) functions as a group of doctors and medical students who are attempting to bring natural medicine to a global community. Each year students and physicians embark on a number of trips to places like Nicaragua, Mexico, Rwanda and Kenya, among others. During these trips the ultimate goal is to introduce natural herbs and medicines to communities and to teach the people how to stop the spread of diseases from the common cold to HIV/AIDS.  Kroeger Herb Products donated cases of Black Cohosh and Cranberry Complete Concentrate to NDI for their upcoming trip to Nicaragua this year. Help One Another Locally

We follwed the call to Help One Another in our own backyard in Colorado!

March was a busy time for A Child’s Dream in Loveland, Colorado with their 5^th Annual Mardi Gras Fashion Show fundraiser.  Hanna’s Herb Shop was happy to get involved with this local non-profit organization that makes dreams come true for deserving young children in northern Colorado. With our donation of Olive Leaf samples we were able to share with the attendees the immune boosting power that can be found in natural products. Equally as exciting for us–sharing products for men and women as well as vitamins to be used as silent auction items to help A Child’s Dream raise money to grant great dreams in 2011. Donating to a local charity was a gratifying way for us to help others and we know the success of the fundraiser means great things for children in northern Colorado. While these donations were small we hope they will make a big impact in the lives of others and that’s something we are proud of.
